Yes, I know, what a nifty phone! Here are two very simple thoughts that I have on this device. One, from what I understand, when you purchase one of these units from an Apple store, (because you will under no circumstances find them anywhere else), and sign up with AT&T for service you will also want to add on the usual extra coverage fee in case something happens to the phone. Like you would with any other "smart phone" from any other service. Guess what, it's not available for the Iphone!! You break it, you buy another... At full price because you are most likely all ready in a two year contract so you can not buy another at the cheap contract price. NOT GOOD!!! Things happen, that's why the extra insurance is a huge value, but you are on your own with an Iphone...
And, when the battery no longer accepts a decent charge, can you go just about any where and buy a new one and install it yourself? NO, you can not. Okay, just go to an Apple store and buy one there. Guess what, it is not possible for you to change out the battery and the Apple store does not sell them. Apple must think we're all too dumb for that, you have to send the phone away for it to have a new battery installed. Think about that for a bit...
Total dependancy on Apple for all your computing and phone needs, wouldn't that just be great??!! Great for Apple, not so great for the end user.
You will live within Apple's walls or you will not use Apple products, and that's that.
